11.5 MWp of projects in Corsica to achieve energy independence

Corsica Sole is delighted to have been awarded projects representing approximately 11.5 MWp of the 18 MWp allocated to Corsica as part of the “PV + storage” tender in non-interconnected areas.

With its know-how and expertise in photovoltaic installations coupled with energy storage devices, Corsica Sole is now a leading player in “PV+Storage.”

Environmental and societal excellence:

True to its responsible ethics, Corsica Sole believes that agricultural land should remain agricultural. That is why we favor two solutions:

• power plants on artificial or polluted sites (quarries, brownfields, parking lots),
• or integrated projects that allow agricultural activity to continue by optimizing land use (pastures, greenhouses).

In addition, our power plants will be equipped with French photovoltaic panels, thus minimizing their carbon impact. We will use local, skilled labor to build our projects, thereby promoting the development of a sustainable economic and social fabric in the region. This approach is always at the heart of our concerns, particularly in projects selected for the “PV+storage” call for tenders.

CS Solaire: Corsica Sole’s expertise in mainland France

Based in Bastia and Paris, Corsica Sole has a team of around twenty engineers who handle the design, administrative procedures, financing, project management, and operation of the power plants. Corsica Sole thus supports projects from A to Z. Historically based in Corsica, Corsica Sole also deploys its expertise in mainland France through the CS Solaire brand. Our expertise led us to win a 9.7 MWp photovoltaic project in December 2015 on the disused grounds of a factory in the Alpes de Haute-Provence region as part of the Energy Commission’s call for tenders published in November 2014. This power plant will be commissioned at the end of 2017 and will supply the equivalent of 6,000 households with green electricity.

In order to remain at the forefront of constantly evolving technology, we promote research and development in the field of renewable energies. As a result of this activity, Driveco is a pioneer in the field of electric and solar mobility. Its charging solutions, solar with the Parasol and flexible with the Kino terminal, can be adapted to all infrastructure needs for charging all electric vehicles. Driveco was recently awarded a prize at the Energy Transition Awards organized by Usine Nouvelle.
