About us
Corsica Sole, an independent solar power producer and a pioneer in energy storage in Europe
Corsica Sole is a French independent solar power producer and a European leader in energy storage. Experiencing strong growth, the company currently operates more than 150 MWp of solar power plants and 360 MWh of energy storage, while developing a project portfolio exceeding 3 GW. An innovator in the renewable energy sector, Corsica Sole is also expanding into the production of green hydrogen. The company develops, builds, finances and operates its own projects in France and across Europe. Drawing on its island origins, Corsica Sole has developed unique expertise in grid stabilisation and the integration of renewable energies, including in complex environments.
True to its responsible approach, Corsica Sole prioritises the installation of its facilities on brownfield or abandoned sites, which it rehabilitates and transforms into low-carbon energy production sites. By combining renewable energies with technological innovation, the company adapts its know-how to each local context to deliver effective solutions that support the energy transition and actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
A strong ambition for 2030
Corsica Sole is looking ahead with ambition: reaching more than 3 GW of installed capacity by 2030, evenly split between 1.5 GW of solar power and 1.5 GW of energy storage. This target reinforces our position as a leading player in solar energy and storage in France and internationally.
To support this growth, we plan to recruit 50 new talents each year, further strengthening our teams and expertise to deliver large-scale projects across France and Europe.
Towards a low-carbon future
A key milestone awaits us in 2026 with the launch, in Corsica, of the island’s first renewable hydrogen production unit. This flagship project embodies our concrete commitment to a more sustainable energy mix.
Driven by a responsible vision, we combine renewable energies and technological innovation to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to local specificities.
At Corsica Sole, we firmly believe that the energy transition can only succeed if it is rooted in local realities and built through a collective approach.
