Corsica Sole continues its expansion on the mainland with two new power plants totaling 33 MWp

News

Corsica Sole is shifting gears. In February 2019, it won a CRE tender for two solar power plants with a total capacity of 33 MWp. They are located in Picareau in the Jura department and in Saint-Quentin-du-Dropt in the Lot department. With a capacity of 28 MWp, the Jura plant will be the largest unit ever built by the company.

After breaking into Corsica, where it is the leading independent player in photovoltaics, Corsica Sole is now establishing a solid foothold on the mainland with a total of three power plants. The Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban plant, which has given a new lease of life to a degraded site belonging to French chemical leader Arkéma, already came into service in the summer of 2019.

These new projects will bring the cumulative power of the projects developed, built, and operated by Corsica Sole to 90 MWp.
