Corsica Sole is establishing itself as a leading player in solar energy in non-interconnected areas (NIAs)

News

Following the latest call for tenders from the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), Corsica Sole was awarded eight projects with a total capacity of 10 MWp. Of this total, 8.5 MWp were won in non-interconnected areas (NIAs), the company’s chosen territory.
With these new projects, Corsica Sole will reach an installed capacity of 100 MW in 2020 with a storage capacity of 45 MWh, consolidating its position as a leading player in France for more than 10 years.

Island territories are part of our DNA because photovoltaics are key to their energy independence. That is why we continue to develop innovative solutions, particularly for energy storage, which is essential for the development of renewable energies in non-interconnected territories.

In Corsica, it has consolidated its position as the leader in solar energy by winning 60% of the allocated power. It will build three photovoltaic units in the municipality of Linguizzetta with a total power of 4.3 MWp and a storage capacity of 6 MWh.
With this tender, Corsica Sole is establishing itself for the first time in French Guiana and consolidating its position in Martinique with a 4 MWp power plant and in Réunion with a new rooftop power plant.
