Corsica Sole reaches a milestone and accelerates its expansion in renewable energy
Growth, strategic expansion and future projects!
The growth of Corsica Sole marks a major step in our development. We have strengthened our position as a key player in the energy transition in France and Europe.
Thanks to an ambitious strategy, we now operate 125 MWp of photovoltaic power and 160 MWh of storage capacity. In addition, our project pipeline now exceeds 3 GW. This confirms our objective: to reach 3 GW of installed capacity by 2030.
Key figures that demonstrate our commitment:
- 125 MWp of photovoltaic power in operation,
- 160 MWh of storage capacity deployed,
- 3 GW of projects under development,
- €52 million in revenue in 2024.
These figures illustrate our ongoing commitment to developing sustainable and innovative energy solutions, as well as our strong ambition for 2030.
Strategic expansion in France and Europe
Last year, Corsica Sole accelerated its growth in France and internationally.
Numerous projects have been launched in France:
- Three ground-mounted solar power plants launched in Corsica,
- A photovoltaic project in French Guiana and three storage facilities in Martinique,
- A collaboration with the Departmental Council of Réunion to equip secondary schools with solar roofs
We are strengthening our presence at European level. Major projects are underway in Estonia, Italy, the Czech Republic and Poland. We are also actively prospecting in Germany, Ireland and Greece.
Storage and hydrogen: towards smart diversification
We believe that the future lies in a combination of complementary energies. That is why we are investing heavily in storage and green hydrogen.
A concrete example? The commissioning, by the end of 2025, of our first hydrogen production site in Corsica. It will produce 2 tonnes of green hydrogen per year. This energy will power local uses, such as maritime mobility and carbon-free generators.
At the same time, we are developing a large-scale storage project in Beuvry (50 MW / 100 MWh). This autonomous site illustrates our ability to anticipate the needs of the electricity grid.
A growing team to meet the challenges
To support this momentum, Corsica Sole is recruiting 50 new employees by the end of 2025. These recruitments cover various fields: engineering, development, legal, environment, operations and communication.
We have already hired 55 people in 2024. The new opportunities are based at our branches in Bastia, Rennes, in the Grand Est region and overseas.
