Folell’Hy: a key component is being installed at the hydrogen plant
In Folelli, work on the Folell’Hy hydrogen power station continues to take shape.
Last week, a particularly important milestone was reached with the delivery and installation of the compression and pressurisation container, one of the plant’s final structural components.
🎥 The video captures a key moment in the project: the arrival of the module, its installation, and its gradual integration into the heart of the facility.
A moment that is both technical and symbolic.
A key component of the system
This container is not just a piece of equipment.
It lies at the heart of the plant’s operations: it compresses the hydrogen produced and prepares it for storage and future use.
In other words, it transforms the output into usable energy.
From construction to commissioning
With this installation, the project is entering a new phase.
The next steps are now underway:
👉 equipment connection
👉 system connection
👉 testing and phased commissioning
Every step brings the power station a little closer to full operation.
A vision becoming reality
In Folelli, what we see on the ground today reflects a wider transformation.
Generating renewable energy is no longer enough. We need to be able to store it, manage it and make the most of it.
That is the whole point of the Folell’Hy project:
☀️ capturing solar energy
💧 converting it into hydrogen
⚡ making it available when needed
Step by step, the power station is coming to life.
And with it, a new way of thinking about energy in Corsica.
