Job description

Reporting to the Head of Legal – Real Estate and Corporate Affairs, and acting as a Contract Law Lawyer, you will contribute to securing and optimising the company’s contractual commitments. You will also be involved in cross-functional projects, such as GDPR compliance and commercial litigation.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Contract law

• Drafting and negotiating partnerships, commercial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and contracts related to the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants;
• Reviewing and negotiating contracts of all kinds, including confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and supply contracts.

Cross-functional projects

• GDPR: advising on and overseeing all aspects of GDPR compliance, and raising awareness across all company departments regarding data protection obligations and best practices;
• Commercial litigation: managing litigation files from summons to enforcement of court decisions; analysing disputed matters, identifying risks and proposing appropriate solutions.

Profile sought

With a higher education qualification in business law or contract law, you have at least 10 years’ experience, ideally within the renewable energy sector.

You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

You have strong expertise in contract law.

With strong organisational skills, you are able to manage priorities effectively and run several processes in parallel. Recognised for your drafting skills, you demonstrate strong analytical and summarising abilities. Dynamic and rigorous, you are able to work autonomously while also being a strong team player.
