Job description

Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Tax – Energy & International Division, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Support for the management of international subsidiaries

  • Establishing and supervising accounting and financial processes for companies based across Europe, in coordination with local accounting and tax service providers;
  • Monitoring the quarterly reporting process and reviewing reporting packages received from external firms (trial balances, general ledgers, financial statements, flat files, etc.);
  • Analyzing accounting data against project cost budgets;
  • Importing financial data into the accounting management system;
  • Monitoring payment processes in coordination with the Treasury team;
  • Ensuring compliance with local legal obligations and monitoring tax-related matters.

Monitoring of project cost budgets across France and international operations

  • Updating project cost financial data (payments, accounting classifications, etc.);
  • Conducting detailed analyses of accounting data against project cost budgets in collaboration with project managers (approximately 10 to 15 active SPV entities per year);
  • Managing and monitoring project-related accruals and provisions.

Oversight of intercompany transactions across the international scope

  • Reconciling intercompany transactions, including invoicing, financing arrangements, current accounts, interest, and dividends;
  • Ensuring proper invoicing in accordance with intercompany agreements (support services and project management fees).

Project management and transformation initiatives

  • Supporting the implementation of the new AMELKIS solution for the management and analysis of international financial data;
  • Managing chart of accounts structures, mappings, import files, automation processes, and intercompany eliminations;
  • Improving and formalizing key processes, including internal procedures and control frameworks.

Candidate profile

You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or equivalent) and have at least three years of experience in financial control. You have a strong understanding of multi-entity accounting environments.

You demonstrate intellectual agility in designing and implementing control procedures within a fast-evolving environment. You have a strong operational mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers and business stakeholders.

You enjoy working in growing and evolving organizations and are recognized for your autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong interpersonal skills. You are comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders, both internal teams and external service providers.

You have excellent proficiency in:

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Excel, the Microsoft Office Suite, and financial management tools such as Power BI.
