Renewable energy projects procurement intern
Job description
As part of the Procurement team and reporting to the Project Buyer, you will support the day-to-day management of both strategic and operational procurement activities (ground-mounted solar plants, rooftop PV systems, and energy storage projects). You will play a key role in structuring our internal processes and actively contribute to the performance of our supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Creating and structuring a procurement database to centralize and map all company purchases;
- Developing a tracking tool to ensure the traceability of module and battery components;
- Monitoring and analyzing ESG audit reports conducted at suppliers’ manufacturing facilities;
- Reviewing and comparing existing contracts to identify best practices and areas for improvement;
- Developing standardized contract templates;
- Supporting the implementation and negotiation of one or more framework agreements for the supply of photovoltaic modules;
- Identifying and sourcing new suppliers and potential business partners;
- Conducting market research and monitoring industry developments;
- Assisting with the preparation of tenders, the analysis of supplier proposals, and the development of evaluation scorecards;
- Supporting the team in the day-to-day management of procurement activities.
This internship offers significant exposure to the procurement challenges of a fast-growing renewable energy producer, with regular interaction with the Operations, Legal, Development, and ESG teams.
Candidate profile
You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Master 2 level) in a Business School, Engineering School, or University program, with a specialization in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
You have a good command of:
- Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Professional English.
With strong organizational skills, you are able to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Rigorous and analytical, you work autonomously and are proactive in proposing solutions. You have a genuine interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.
