World Climate Day: Corsica Sole commits to a sustainable future
On 8 December, World Climate Day, we would like to remind everyone that we must act now to limit global warming to 1.5°C and protect our planet.
At Corsica Sole, we firmly believe that ecological transition begins with raising awareness and getting everyone involved. That’s why, on 27 November, our Paris teams had the opportunity to take part in two collaborative and inspiring workshops: ‘2 tonnes’ and ‘La Fresque du Climat’.
Diving into solutions for a low-carbon future
These workshops, led by Théo de la Chapelle and Victor Lime, brought together a dozen employees per session to explore two complementary approaches: ‘2 tonnes’ workshop: Simulating a low-carbon future
This immersive workshop enabled our teams to:
- Understand the 2-tonne target: This figure corresponds to the maximum amount of CO₂ emissions per person per year that we must achieve by 2050 to limit global warming.
- Simulate concrete scenarios: By playing with different levers (mobility, food, energy, etc.), participants explored possible actions and their impact on our carbon trajectory.
- Challenging individual and collective choices: A revealing experience to measure how much each decision, big or small, influences our common future.
Workshop ‘La Fresque du Climat’ (The Climate Collage): Visualising climate issues
The workshop ‘La Fresque du Climat’ (The Climate Collage) offered a visual and collaborative approach to:
- Unpack the mechanisms of climate change: Through a card game, participants explored the complex relationships between human activities and climate change.
- Raise awareness of interdependencies: The aim was to gain a better understanding of the overall issues in order to take more effective action at our level.
- Stimulate collective intelligence: Together, our teams co-created a fresco rich in lessons and ideas.
Thank you to our teams for their commitment!
These workshops are only the first step: they demonstrate our desire to put collective intelligence at the service of the energy transition. We are convinced that every action counts and that collective action is a powerful lever for driving change.
Next steps?
We plan to organise these workshops in our offices in Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse and many others…
Together, let’s build a sustainable future
At Corsica Sole, we are working towards a low-carbon future, one action at a time. Every commitment counts, every step brings us closer to a more responsible world.
Join us on this adventure and let’s build the world of tomorrow together.
