Photovoltaic maintenance technician
Job description
We are looking for a Photovoltaic Maintenance Technician to strengthen our team based in Saint-Paul, La Réunion.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on installations (energy storage systems, solar plants, etc.);
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out interventions to restore equipment to operational condition;
- Ensuring the commissioning and adjustment of automated systems;
- Supervising and performing performance and safety tests;
- Working closely with the technical team to improve processes and system reliability;
- Writing maintenance and intervention reports;
- Contributing to the updating and management of maintenance software.
Profile sought
You hold a Level 5 or 6 qualification (Bac +2/3) in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, automation, or an equivalent field, and you have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
You have strong knowledge of telecommunications, industrial IT and automation.
You are proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
You are familiar with:
- Applicable safety and quality standards;
- PLC programming.
Additional assets:
- Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS);
- Working at height certification with harness;
- Electrical authorisations.
You are comfortable working at height and do not suffer from a fear of heights.
With good organisational skills, you are able to manage priorities effectively. Proactive and rigorous, you demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. You have strong communication skills and a good team spirit.
